Medieval 2004

"Old School"     It’s finally here!!!  New Medieval!!!  When Willjious and I got back together and began writing songs again, it was like we picked right up from 1987.  Again, he and I have always had a bond when it comes to writing tunes, and working through breaks, etc.  His input, patience, and inherent ability to structure songs is incredible.  After we had this tune down for a bit, I reached into my old grab bag of Terror lyrics from way back when – and low and behold, here was a quick lyric penned on a small piece of paper that looked like the proverbial “back of a cocktail napkin.”  I could quickly see that this lyric was written long ago prophesying our return and the continuation of our style.  I hope you enjoy the tune…by the way, we’ve got more!

Medieval LIVE:

"Medieval"     This is a difficult thing to admit, but I turned 40 this year…but the part that is easy to talk about is the party I had!  Medieval was all together in one room again, and the drinks and the music were flowing at an incredible rate the entire night…I could not ask for a better time in my life.  As was told elsewhere on the website, Elwood was there, but it was a last minute commute over 6 states to get there, so I had enlisted a friend and fan, Travis Bjork, from Suburban Funeral (check out their website on the links page) to fill in on bass.  The other treat was having Spike, the person who wrote the lyrics for the song, sing them!  It’s been 20 years, and the man still has an incredible voice – and the band was certainly tight that night!  Enjoy!
